Small Business Certificate Program - course description


This 5-week certificate program focuses on how to start a small business or improve an existing business including understanding cash flow and writing the business plan.


Topics to be covered are:
- legal aspects of the business
- the key points a bank looks for in a business plan
- determining the viability of a business enterprise through proper planning and analyzing cash flow.

Topics also discussed are:
- pricing
- break-even analysis
- identifying pitfalls
- income statements
- cash flow forecasting
- options for raising capital.

The 5 classes are based on the book Six-Week Start-up, a step-by-step program for starting or improving your business and achieving your goals. All students receive this book as part of the $93.00 cost.
